12th Nov: CARGO SIGNS TO SLIDE RECORDINGS
Slide Recordings was created in 2000. At that time Belfast was experiencing something of an explosion in local production talent, with the likes of Phil Kieran making waves in the UK dance scene.

The momentum continued to grow, and after seven releases, Slide began to pad out the roster, redefining itself as an outlet for local talent, both established and emerging. At this stage the Slide sound had firmly established itself, ranging from the leftfield techy sounds of Blue Noise, to the deep funky vibes of SD Grooves - all with a firm emphasis on quality, and reflecting the sounds of Belfast-based clubs. The label has gone from strength to strength, continuing to evolve and develop, and its current release Blue Noise “Nine Volt Ep” is the 21st release for the label.

Cargo’s release entitled 'The Warning' should be released around March of next year.

We’ll keep you posted on further developments.

30th Jul: Cityscape
A secret weapon with a few, select tastemaker DJs over recent months, ‘Cityscape’ is a lush, tech house delight, underpinned by one of the biggest basslines you’re likely to hear this side of the next Millennium!
Emotive stabs, lush pads and that filthy bassline combine to distinguish the original, whilst the remix injects that Ibearican sound, just in time for the summer.

Support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo and Tom Stephan, Nick Warren etc.
Reviews in IDJ and DJ Magazine.

Two diverse mixes. The original mix focusing on a very current, tech-house sound, whilst the housier, Iberican-style remix drops in perfect time for the summer season
2 more very useful DJ tools offering the consumer value for money.
