4th October: Cargo remix reviewed in 365 Mag
Tony Thomas - Operator (Chris Cargo remix) - New Era Recordings
Chris Cargo is on remix duties, turning Operator into a more uptempo bouncer with fat kicks, oldschool
house percussion and typical tech-house synth effects. After the first break, all is spiced up with a simply
fantastic bass-line that results in the track becoming very uplifting and energetic. The percussion is simple,
sounding like oldschool house tracks, but it certainly does the trick in making this track an irresistible piece of work!
Ten thumbs up for this one!
7th September: Radio One play for Cowgirl
Chris's remix of Underworld's Cowgirl was aired on BBC Radio One on Saturday 1st September by Annie Nightingale.

10th August: "Directions" features on new compilation
"Directions" to feature on the new Jay Lumen compilation (Baroque Records)
Baroque Records have enlisted Jay Lumen to put together their next ELEMENTS cd album. For those of you not already aware of this series, Shiloh did the last one for Baroque, it is a mix album with a twist.
The artist selects the tracks he wants to use in his mix, then Barqoue get the original artists to send in the production parts / seqencer files / audio tems etc etc. Then the artist putting the album together takes all these parts and remixes / edits all the selected tacks so that they form a reflection of their style. This results in a quite unique mix album and Jay's should be available at the end of 2007/start of 2008.
3rd July: NEW SIGNINGS FOR CARGO
Chris has just signed the monstrous double header 'Overdrive and Directions' to legendary label Baroque home of such artists as Lustral, Andy Moor, D-Nox, Funkagenda, Quivver, Shiloh and Ralphi Rosario.
Founded in early 2000 by Keith McDonnel from Innate and Mick Parks of Parks and Wilson fame Baroque has spawned over 70 releases half a dozen artist and albums and the same again in mix compilations.
With 3 other sub labels namely Method, Baroque Ltd and Wildchild and its own distribution company responsible for over 50 labels its easy to see why Baroque are one of the leading independent labels around.
Expect to see Overdrive/Directions hitting the shelves in September of this year.
Not one to rest on his laurels Chris has also just teamed up with the Punchfunk label home of such luminaries as Fergie and Dave Spoon.
The single 'Truth' will come complete with a wicked remix from man of the moment John Gurd later this year.
